MachineTek is now authorized to perform product inspection, acceptance and release of parts on behalf of United Technologies Corporation
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA – July 10, 2015
Following a week of intensive training and testing, MachineTek’s Quality Manager Doug Rupert and Quality Engineer Mark Hardison have achieved qualification from United Technologies as internal Delegated Quality Representatives (DQR’s). This qualification authorizes MachineTek to perform product inspection, acceptance, and release of MachineTek’s honeycomb core products on behalf of United Technologies Corporation’s UTC Aerospace Systems.
UTC Aerospace tracks the performance of their suppliers and rewards those companies whose quality performance is exceptional. With the new qualification, MachineTek now has the capacity to participate in the United Technologies’ Certified Supplier Eligibility program.
Doug Rupert stated, “We have shipped over 12,000 parts to UTC Aerospace Systems without a single non-conformance. With this performance record, MachineTek is well on its way to becoming a Gold Status Supplier for UTC Aerospace.”
